In less than 30 minutes and 30 miles south of the City of Buffalo, you can experience a slice of Americana. From the moment you turn onto the Village of East Aurora’s Main Street, you are taken back to a time before strip plazas and malls were even conceived. For in East Aurora, there are grand homes with welcoming front porches, kids playing on the front lawn and people walking down the tree-lined streets. The restored Main Street complete with brick from curb to curb is home to unique shops, restaurants and a vintage movie theater. This Mayberry-like village has been the home to an American President, a beloved toy company and is the birthplace of the American Arts and Crafts Movement -The Roycroft Arts and Crafts Community.
The Inn is within walking distance to a variety of antique shops, museums, specialty shops and parks. Many Roycroft artisans are located in this area and have shops open to the public. We are also within short driving distance to a number of fine golf courses and ski areas (both downhill and cross country).
